Effective air sealing is much more than simply draft prevention. It’s a way to help your customers enjoy energy savings in a more comfortable, healthier home. In order to achieve this goal and articulate the benefits of air sealing to customers, you need both technical proficiency and communication skills. This course offers insights into the key areas in residential structures susceptible to air leakage and the appropriate materials and methods for sealing those penetrations. You’ll also learn how to convey the value proposition of air sealing to customers – from better indoor air quality and lower utility bills to greater comfort in their homes.
